THE SPECTRUM (USA TODAY)- There aren’t many actors who can say they’ve worked on both a “Star Wars” and
a “Star Trek” movie, as well as a DC Comics and
a Marvel Comics show. Greg Grunberg can boast all those things, along with his starring role in the hit show “Heroes” and his charity band, Band From TV, which includes James Denton, Bob Guiney, Jesse Spencer, Adrian Pasdar, Scott Grimes, Chris Kelley, Barry Sarna, David Leach, Chris Mostert and Brad Savage.Even though his resume spans nearly every geeky genre, he’s doing everything he can to reach even further – including a foray into penning his own series of graphic novels.
He’ll be coming straight to the fans at Salt Lake Comic Con’s FanXperience March 17 -18, a group of people of which he considers himself a part.
“I’m just as much of a fan as the people I’m meeting at these shows,” he says, mentioning the show he hosts with Kevin Smith, AMC’s “Geeking Out,” which takes a fanboy approach to pop culture. “Salt Lake City, that’s one of the biggest and best shows, and I’ve never done it. So I was really excited when we got the call that they were interested in having me there.”
“I love this kind of thing,” he adds.
