I honestly would love to go to a ballet… I’ve never been to one before and I think it would be a new experience.

Tchaikovsky is my absolutely favorite composer for ballets and Swan Lake is one of my absolute favorites! I saw Swan Lake at a local high school when I was younger and fell in LOVE with the music and the story! I would love so much to see it again and on a much bigger scale! It is an amazing show!

  11. Joshua Epperson says:

I would love to surprise my wife with these tickets. It’s close to the time we began dating, our first date was at the capitol theater. It would be so much fun to take her on nearly the same date five years later.

  12. Cassidy Josie says:

I love ballet! I would love to win these tickets! I’ve never actually watched ballet in person, just on tv. I’ve also never been to the Capital Theater, and it sounds like such a fun time.

  13. Michelle Anderson says:

I would absolutely LOVE to take my daughter to see her first ballet. I couldn’t think of a better experience than Swan Lake. Times have been really rough lately and I’d love to have this to share with her. Such great memories!

  14. Collin Olsen says:

My mother has always wanted to go to a ballet so this would be the perfect opportunity for her. With free tickets, she would be forced to take a break from grading papers and enjoy herself.

  15. Michelle Wolfe says:

I neeeeeeed these tickets! My son is 15 and has been asking to see swan lake since he was 8…it would mean so much if we won! Plus, first comment should mean something yeah?

The reason why I should win these tickets to see Swan Lake is because attending the ballet is a wonderful cultural event and it would be a perfect for me and my soon to be fiance!

  17. Meagan Elizabeth says:

I broke my arm in half and haven’t been able to do much. I miss doing ballet and working out. And I’ve never been in the audience before for Swan Lake. It would be lovely to see it and reminisce.

  18. Evan says:

I want to win these tickets for my girlfriend. She has always wanted to see the ballet and has never had the opportunity. It would mean so much to her to final get to go. On top of that I specifically told her that I wasn’t going to enter to win so it would be a great surprise if I did! 😉

  20. Jared Vernon says:

My little nine year old daughter loves to dance, and is completely entranced by ballet. She’ll dance around the house, twirling, jumping, trying to balance on her tippy-toes, pretending she’s a ballerina. She would absolutely adore being able to see Swan Lake. I’d love to take her and see her watch the performance.

  21. Kim Higginson says:

I love Tchaikovsky! I’ve only ever been able to attend one ballet and it was his Anna Karenina. I am a huge fan of Black Swan and the Swan Lake music. Unfortunately, I can’t find anyone willing to pony up the $90 to come with me. I would so love to go. Thanks for all you do, Comic Con organizers and volunteers!!

  22. Whitney Pelham says:

Ever since I was three years old I have been both a lover and a practitioner of ballet. Nothing can compare to the pure exhilaration of watching those who have delicately honed their craft to the point where it looks like easy magic rather than the back-breaking-shin-splinting labor it is. Being young, newly married, and supporting my husband through school, it is out of my budget range to attend Ballet West like I would love to. If I won these tickets, you would not only be giving me a much needed night out, but a metaphysical rejuvenation and chance to partake in the art I adore so much.

  23. Ashley Smith says:

I grew up as a dancer, and yet never had the chance to see a professional ballet. It has been my dream to see Swan Lake and would love to finally be able to go!

  24. Crystal says:

I am a huge fan of the Swan Lake play and would love to be able to attend. It would certainly help with my winter blues. And I think it would be a “duck”ing good time. =)

  25. Gary Boyle says:

The princess trapped within the shell of beautiful swan searches for love after an evil spell is cast upon her. The tragic and beautiful nature of the story is endearing and breathtaking to watch. Similar to the modern mythos of a comic book characters such as Batman and Spider-man, the swan is trapped by what attracts others to her but her true desire is to be liberated from the prison that binds her spirit. batman and Spider-man are bound to tragic events that hold them in a permanent state of searching for a justice they cannot find. Each yearns to be free of the burden and to be able to right the one wrong that compels them. The swan finds liberty while the comic heroes are bound to their fate, sought after by evil they battle the tragedy that imprisons their souls.

My ability to see the similarities between the two and my love for both art forms is why I should be chosen to go to the ballet as a guest of the best Comic Con in the world, the Slat Lake Comic Con.

  27. Francina says:

I wanted to be a ballerina when I was little girl. Those days have passed, but I still love to watch those who did go on to live their dreams.

  28. Lance says:

Cheap date and score some points with a lady? Who could say no to that? I need these tickets!, my future wife is depending on it!

  29. Samantha says:

I used to be in ballet classes but I could not afford it anymore. I can’t dance anymore because of an ankle injury but I still love to watch ballet. I would love the opportunity to see ballet west preform live. I have only ever watched recordings so it would be a wonderful experience for me and would cherish the opportunity for the rest of my life.

  30. Michael wong says:

I love the performing arts! I hope I win the tickets because I love how stories can be told without using words, but also dance. I also have never been to a ballet before.

  31. Amanda Quist says:

My mother and I don’t share a lot in common; except for a shared love of the arts including the amazing and beautiful ballet performers at Ballet West. I have seen them once before, and I can still remember the performance taking my breath away. My mother has had a difficult year, and I would love to cheer her up through watching beauty and grace dance across the Ballet West stage.

  32. Brittany Baggott says:

I would like to think that I should win because I have a passion for ballet, and because I would so very much love to see such a beloved classic as Swan Lake because there are few things as beautiful as seeing the amazing music of Tchaikovsky put into not just the motion of the body but the motion of the heart is truly a gift in and of itself and knowing that it was the great musicians like Tchaikovsky that led the way for amazing musical scores that are not only beautiful but can induce so many emotions, music from our pasts is like welcoming back a long lost friend and then being able to see that music put into dance and being able to not just feel the emotion of the music but to see it as well, well there is nothing more overwhelming to me.

  33. Scott Jeffs says:

I live where people don’t know culture, think that the ballet is some distant dream, and sit on their screens all day. I would like an excuse to take my fiancé and show her there is a bigger world out there in world of the arts.

  34. Kandice says:

I don’t know that I deserve the tickets, but I would love to see Swan Lake. The only time I’ve seen it was at a university. It would be amazing to see professionals perform this beautiful ballet.

  35. Lizbeth Osorio says:

I went to my first ballet during Christmas time just last year for The Nutcracker. I cried! I always wondered why people cried during something like an opera in movies or shows, and now I know! It’s so beautiful and now I understand! Can I please win?

  36. Carol Hunsaker says:

This is my favorite ballet! I would so love to go with my daughter. Ballet West always puts on an amazing show!

  37. Jenn Hamilton says:

I want to take an under privileged youth to the basket and cannot afford tickets in my own. She loves dance and we went to the Ballet West open house. She loved it! I want to see that same joy in her face again.

  38. Katie Olsen says:

I wish to win these tickets to the Ballet West performance called Swan lake because it has always been my dream to attend a Ballet West performance. I absolutely love ballet and I hope that my valentine, McKay and I can attend the performance together. We are hard-working students at BYU and we would really appreciate winning these tickets so that we can save money for our future wedding.

  39. Heather Winkler says:

I have two daughters who dance ballet six days a week, literally getting home at night at 9pm. We spend all of our available funds on their classes, tights and pointe shoes. I went back to work just to help them live their dream. They are getting really good but it stinks not being able to attend live productions of the thing they love most. We managed back row to Ballet West Cinderella abs my girls actually cried (no really..cried) from the beauty. They got their pointe shoes signed by Adam and refuse to throw them away, ever. This would be so wonderful to see. To be a ballerina and never gave seen Swan Lake is a tragedy.

  40. Mr. Fields says:

I would love the tickets in order to take my 2 year old daughter to see it. Swan lake is her 2nd favorite ballet (behind nutcracker of course)
    It would be awesome!!!!

  41. Brooke Stokes says:

I would LOVE to win these tickets! I am a huge fan of ballet but haven’t ever been able to take my husband to one and this would be the perfect one to introduce him to for our Valentines date!

  42. Anna larsen says:

I want to take my daughter. I would be a fun night for us to get dressed up and go together. She is 13 and neither of us have ever been to a ballet.

  43. Heather Winkler says:

Lol and apparently I suck at typing on my phone so please feel free to edit all my spelling errors. Sheesh…read before sending next time Heather! ☺

  44. Allison Ottley says:

I haven’t been to a ballet in probably 20 years, and never Swan Lake. My sweetheart hasnt either! We would dearly love to see this production!

  45. Alissa Ketchum says:

I should win because I’m a big fan of ballet–I always wanted to take it as a child, but our family lacked the funding. So when I got to college, I took a few classes. I’m nowhere near being an expert, but I love the beauty and strength that ballet presents! I’d love to win, it would be a great valentine’s gift!

  46. Nathan Chadwick says:

My wife was a dancer when we got married, but got out of it when we started having kids. With my working multiple jobs and not even knowing if I have enough money at the end of the month to pay the mortgage, I’d been planning to skip Valentine’s this year. But if we won these tickets, not only would it mean I got to keep Valentine’s with her but I get to take her to one of the great ballets. Great contest!

  47. Jesse H says:

I’ve got a good friend who dances for ballet west and haven’t been able to make it to a show yet. This would be a perfect opportunity!

  48. Julie Field says:

I should win because I am a Ballet Mom and have not seen the Ballet in almost four years . This is my fav ballet Otis one of the most epic in so many ways!

  49. Julie Field says:

I forgot to let you know this is how I got my start on making epic costume with aspen Cosplay collection she is my ballet daughter and many of hr have been spent making ballet costumes

  50. Alicia Blickfeldt says:

This would be the most romantic thing I could possibly think of taking my husband to for Valentine’s Day. Last year not only did I go through cancer, I later was literally run over by a truck! I lost about 6 months cumulatively. It was not a great year for either of us – but Mike … well, he did anything and everything that I could ever have possibly imagined to help me get through it all. He is a saint and I love him so very much. I appreciate your kindness either way. Have a great Valentine’s day yourselves. 🙂 Thanks. Alicia

  51. Kiyana zohairy says:

I should win these tickets because I love ballet! I’m a ballerina myself. Ballet west has been a dream of mine and I’m currently working with some of my ballet teachers that were principals at ballet west, would love to see them perform!

  52. Jordan Finnell says:

Our 9-month old son’s babysitter is in the Ballet West company and will be performing in Swan Lake. My wife loves ballet, and we’d love to be able to see Swan Lake, but finances aren’t necessarily the easiest to manage right now. With us both being students and having a young child, we have to limit the number of outings that we can afford. But this would be a pretty exciting Valentine’s gift for my wife 🙂 Don’t worry though, I’ll at least pay to take us to dinner on the date as well. I’m not that cheap; at least, I’d like to think not.

  53. Nick Burke says:

I am a straight, hetero dude and I love ballet. I love the music and the choreography and the skill required to make it looks so spontaneously graceful. My mom took my sister and my wife out to a “girl’s night” at the ballet and I was jealous as hell. I would love a chance to see a performance of Swan Lake.

  54. Stephanie Hill says:

I’d love to win because I’ve never been to the Capitol theater and I’ve never seen Swan Lake. Thanks!

  55. Stephanie Meek says:

When I moved to Salt Lake City I was so excited to have cultural opportunities that weren’t available in a small town in Montana. However, money has been scarce due to medical issues and a fixed income, so I’ve had to sacrifice those things. It would be so cool to be able to go to the ballet!

  56. Janna Bluth says:

I would love to take my 5 year old daughter to the ballet this year! We are SLC comic con fans, we even displayed together as Zelda and Lin at this years comic con. She is such a fun loving girl, and I would love to let her experience a different kind of costuming experience! 😉

  57. Abby McCarthy says:

I was a concert Flutist or Flautist ( however you prefer) through high school and college. I danced as well. I was a terrible dancer, but let’s not get into specifics. Through my time in the pit, I never got to fully see any of the beautiful productions that I played for. It would be my privilege and honor to attend this. Thank you very much for your time.

  58. Camille says:

I should win because I haven’t been to the ballet since the nutcracker two years ago and would love to go to this!! Would be great event to go to after my long week of working 17 hours a day from mon-fri!!! 😀

  59. Stefanie Grow says:

I love going to the ballet. As it brings back so many memories of being a dancer as a small child through adulthood. I had always dreamed of being a professional dancer. Until my Grandma feel ill with cancer and died due to it. I never went back to ballet because i myself have a chronic disease that causes tremendous pain. Going to watch the beautiful dancers show off their hard work while entertaining us is such a fulfillment.

  60. Maryanne says:

I only need one ticket as I would love to see this show before I move from SLC. I would like to blow off all obligations and just have to take in each moment.

  61. Rachel Wilson says:

I would like to win because I do not have the financial opportunity to attend fine art performances. It has always been a dream of mine to attend swan lake and the nutcracker.

  62. JJ says:

I would love to experience a ballet. I’m a starving student, so I don’t go to as many cultural events as I would like.

  63. Adalaide says:

A freebie may be the only chance I ever get to drag my husband to a ballet with me. I could just go alone but it would be nice to have an excuse to get him to go with me.

  64. Joni says:

I should win because every so often a girl deserves to treat herself to the ballet for Valentines Day. I don’t have a Valentine, but I’m sure I could find a friend to enjoy a Galentines trip to the ballet with me!

  65. Myla says:

My parents don’t usually get the chance to go out together on a date, so I would love to give them a night out for once!

  66. Katie says:

Ive been so eager to go to a Ballet performance with my husband. We haven’t gone in over a decade because financially other things come first. We have been able to take our kids to various children theatre productions, but would love to chance for us to go to a timeless piece!

  67. KInsey Hamelin says:

I absolutely love Ballet. Ever since I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to be a ballerina. Watching the Swan Lake in person would be a dream come true. I am a huge fan of Ballet west and dream about getting to be apart of their dance group. I would love to get to go and see some more of what they do and how well they perform so that I can work myself up to being one of them. Me and my mom would love to go on a Mother Daughter date we haven’t been able to hang out lately with how sick she has been with her dizziness so I would love to get the tickets for a nice outing for the two of us to go to. I want a memory with her that I can remember FOREVER!

  68. Melinda Owen says:

I have never been able to afford to take my daughter to the ballet. She dreams of being a dancer and dances around our living room all the time. This would mean so much to both of us. Please choose us for Swan Lake.

  69. A Hanson says:

I have never seen Swan Lake. I started taking ballet lessons 30+ years ago, and it’s been on my bucket list to see ever since!

  70. Jes H says:

My husband and I love all forms of art and have been so busy with work and school lately. It would be lovely to enjoy a date night out! And he would be stoked if I surprised him with tickets!

  71. Laura Checketts says:

I would love to take my daughter to see Swan Lake! It is one of my favorite ballets, and I know that my daughter would be over-the-moon to see it!

  72. Karen Harris says:

My daughter, Sara (age 14), loves ballet. Whether she is the one performing or watching a performance – she is in heaven! I would love to give her the opportunity to see Swan Lake performed by the beautiful dancers of Ballet West. Only problem is, my 12 year old daughter Rebecca is just as big of a ballet fan and she’ll want to go too! 🙂 How many tickets are you giving away again? LOL
Thanks for such an amazing opportunity! I hope we win!

  73. Danielle Asay says:

I should win these Ballet West tickets because Swan Lake is one of my favorites and I haven’t seen it since high school. My husband has never seen it, and we rarely have the opportunity to go out together – and usually not for an evening this nice or costly. So, we would really appreciate it. 🙂

  74. Ashley Price says:

I live up in Logan temporarily because I attend USU, but time to time I go back home down to Salt Lake and stay with my mom. We survive financially, but there are times when we can’t really go out much. We’re trying to do more things together as mother and daughter before I leave for my LDS mission. We’ve gone to a couple ballet’s together and we have a really great time when we do. If I was able to win these tickets, I think it would be a great surprise for my mom and I to go, especially since we wouldn’t have to worry about money.

  75. Crystal Slatten says:

I have danced for 26 years. Lived in Utah for 5, and I still haven’t had a chance to see Ballet West perform! I would love to win!

  76. Teara says:

I would like tickets because it has always been a dream of mine to become a ballet dancer! I grew up doing ballet and would still being doing if I wasn’t sick all the time! It’s so beautiful to watch and so inspiring, I hope to kick this sickness so I can begin again!

  77. Dawna McKnight says:

My phone#801-898-4844. I have never been to a ballet. I really really really want to go! This would be awesome to see. I would take my husband of 23 years. Thanks for the great contest! 🙂

  78. Amanda says:

I have never been to a ballet. I have always admired the hard work and dedication that goes into their amazing feats of dance. Awesome. I would love to go. I don’t have a great reason why I should be picked, just that it would mean a lot to me, and I would love it. Thank you!

  79. John M. says:

This would be a great date night for my wife and I. I am not able to work due to my disabilities. This would be a wonderful suprise for Valentine’s Day date. She works real hard and it would be nice for me to treat her. Thank you for considering my entry.

  80. Jessica says:

I have always loved the scene from “Funny Girl” where Barbra Streisand makes fun of Swan Lake. I suppose I should see the ballet for real, and there’s no time like the present! I look forward to thanking you for the tickets very soon!

Also, there’s this gem: Funny Girls – Royal Variety Performance 2005: http://youtu.be/wQ6EaIYfcng

I give these tickets to my parents for Valentine’s Day suprise and time out. They could go to dinner and then the ballet. Got my fingers crossed! XXXX

  82. Andrea Schacht says:

I would take my friend Julie. She is an amazing single mother of 2, works a full time job and goes to school part time. When we can afford tickets and her a sitter we go to the symphony together and she’s been to the opera but she’s never seen ballet west. I know she would love it.

I would love to see this beautiful ballet in person and am thankful for the opportunity to enter your contest.

  84. Jocelyn Rindlesbach says:

It would be great for me to win these tickets! My amazing mother has just turned 60 and she would be the one I would take. We both love ballet but have never had the chance to go to a production. Swan Lake was my favorite cartoon as a child and honestly it would be magical to see it performed in the flesh.

  85. Alaina Rupe says:

When I was younger, I actually danced with Ballet West. That is what encouraged me so strongly to pursue a career in dance. My husband was diagnosed last year with a heart disease and since then he has just inspired me even more to follow my dreams. Dance is my love, it is my life! Everything that I do l, I do for the beauty of dance. Winning a flawless ballet Tutu, would be a dream come true. It would give me even more of a push towards knowing that this is what I am meant to do in life. . . Dance with all of my heart.

  86. Emerald Green says:

I’d love to be able to take my two kids to see the full production of the breathtaking show. My kids are ballet students and truly love to dance.

  87. Angela Rotzler says:

We didn’t have the money to buy tickets for all of us to go this year and since my daughter had a coupon for two tickets, I sacrificed and let my husband and her go together last Saturday. Since then, all I have heard from them and the media is how great of a performance it is. So…now I want to see it too. I was going to just be happy with our plans for Valentine’s Day weekend by going to see Collin Raye on the 13th of which I was given tickets to for my birthday from my mom, but that concert has been postponed until mid March due to Collin having a medical problem and surgery. Now I’m sad I missed Swan Lake and have nothing special planned for Valentine’s Day. I would love to win these tickets to brighten up my mood.

  88. Jeanne Thelin says:

Swan Lake has to be my most favorite ballet. As a young girl I loved the music and when I had my own children we had books, tapes and videos of the story. This production looks so amazing. I would love the free ticket.

  89. Lynn Barlow says:

I love the Capitol Theatre! I once went to an opening of an opera when I was a senior in at Riverton High and was unsure of it at first. This girl had the tickets and asked me on a date, she was cute but I was skeptical of a night at the opera. I ultimately said yes and fell in love with the theatre ever since. I’ve been looking for a way to go back and this looks like the perfect way to invite a special someone to join me.

  90. Brian D says:

my wife danced baller for about twenty years. She has desperately beenmissing the artistry and athleticism that is the culture and spectacle of ballet. Every time there is a show about ballet I turn it on for her so we can watch it together, and she can teach me and share with her. After two back surgeries, 5 kids of her own, significant upheaval in life in recent years, I would love to take her to a show so she can enjoy the subtle nuances of a ballet performance again. Please.

  91. Christine Lee says:

I love Ballet West! I’ve never seen Swan Lake and would love to see it! I would love to take my sister who needs a good pick me up! She’s my Valentine this year :).

  92. Cheryl Davis says:

I would love to win tickets to take my granddaughter who turns 3 on the 19th and is fascinated by dancing ballerina’s. We’ve had a hard year financially due to my husband being diagnosed with a Thalamic brain tumor and this would be a happy memory to create instead of all the illness ones. It would make for an amazing Grandpa and Granddaughter outing. 🙂

I’m a ballerina and haven’t been to see a show in years because I don’t have the money. Please I would love to go!

  94. Andrea D Molder says:

I love the music of this poignant and haunting tale. I have always wanted to see Swan Lake and would love to experience it live.

  95. Danielle Carlston says:

Ballet, specifically Ballet West, has made a huge impact on my life. I used to dance in the BW academy for five years and loved every lesson and experience. After I decided to focus more on my schooling and not continue ballet, I have tried to go to as many performances as possible. Being a senior at the U, I sadly have not been able to go to as many as I would like. It would be the highlight of my year to be able to go to the Ballet West performance of Swan Lake.

  96. Francisco says:

I would love to take my girlfriend. We don’t do a lot but our company with eachother is enough. This would be a wonderful date for the both of us

  97. Suiha Ngatikaura says:

I would LOVE to win tickets to see, “Swan Lake” !!! I have been a big supporter of the ballet and orchestra. Tchaikovsky is one of my favorite conductors and always has been since I have been a child. I want to be able to share something this special with my loved one for valentines. 99. Megan Tholen says:

My favorite composer of all time is Tchaikovsky. I always loved the story of Swan Lake growing up, and always wanted to dance even though my parents couldn’t afford lessons. I’ve only ever had 3 opportunities to see a full, live ballet. Now that I’m going to school at Westminster for music and performing arts, it would be the opportune time to go see a ballet and enjoy and study the nuances of the music and storyline and character development.

This would be an extremely delightful gift to win.

    Thank you for considering me!

  104. Paul Evans says:

I think the event was great, but we got very few new people and all the old people got VIP tickets so their lines were long. Some times longer than the other lines. The panels were great. What would be fun and creative is have two events one down town and the other at Sandy double the celebs double the tickets, and double adventure.

  105. Kiki says:

  108. Melyssa says:

I should win because I love everything ballet. I took it for 3 years starting when I was 11 and got on pointe. After 3 years I had a dilemma, my parents could no longer afford the expense of lessons. 🙁 But I still love the art! I have only been to one Ballet West reformable and it was amazing. Going to the ballet is one of my top 3 favorite things to do in the whole world! Tickets are so pricey I can only go once every couple years. I would take my 8 year old daughter who eats drinks and sleeps dance. We would be the happiest and most grateful pair in the theater!

  116. Emily says:

I love ballet!! I was the awkward little girl in ballet class that was always falling over or being scolded in class because I have bad feet. I didn’t get to become a ballerina, but I still pretend to be one when I am home alone. Both my hubby and I have to work over Valentines and we are super bummed about it. But if we got Sunday tickets to the ballet then we could have a romantic date!

  117. Trent says:

It would be great if I can take my wife to see a production at the capitol theater for our upcoming anniversary.

  118. Cindy Wilson says:

Why should I win tickets? Several reasons:
    1) I’ve never seen it and have always wanted to.
    2) my dumb A@@ husband!!! I need a break from him and all the stress he causes me.
    3) I’m too broke to buy tickets.
    4) I LOVE ballet! Christmas isn’t Christmas without seeing the Nutcracker…I’d like to broaden my horizons and see Swan Lake finally!

  119. Tenise Leedom says:

I have been to several ballets. Swan Lake is absolutely my favorite and this is why. Starting with the costumes. They are perfection for a dancer. The elegance of the fabric allows you to admire the dancers skill to a level you never knew possible. The music, the story, and the captivated audience makes a wonderful performance. I love the part where the swans arise from the fog. I would love to win these tickets, because I am a Comic-con fan and a ballet fan. Also, I can appreciate a performance.

  126. Pearl Renfroe says:

I would love to take my teen cousin. I just adopted her into my home last summer and she honestly hasn’t experienced much as far as culture or even food… but she loves everything new she has tried. She was failing school before she moved in with me and has managed to be an A student and often gets student of the week. She also works hard at home helping with my young boys and doing chores. She has come a long way from a suicidal kid with an addict Mother. I’m currently very poor my husband is a disabled Vet whos job keeps cutting his hours and I had brain surgery last summer so I stay home and care for my autistic son… Money is very thin and we usually spend everything we have on food and bills… but I’d really like for her to enjoy a ballet… it’s every little girls dream.

My daughter is 14yrs old and was injured during a ballet audition this past Saturday, 2/07. She has been on pointe for a little more than 2yrs and dancing is her life. She broke her left fibula and fractured her tibia (also fractured her growth plate in her ankle). She will not be able to put any pressure on her left leg for at least 6 weeks. She is unable to attend school or her regular dance classes and being able to attend the Swan Lake production would sure raise her spirits! Please consider her for the ticket giveaway – *(if wheelchair seating is available). Thank you!

  130. Tracy says:

I would love to take my little cousin. She is almost 10 years old and does ballet. She shows me what she has learned every time I visit. I don’t think her parents have ever been able to take her to a professional performance before. Thanks for the chance to try and win tickets!

  135. Wendy Wittke says:

Ballet, and dance in general, is such a beautiful expression of love, tragedy, excitement, and all other emotions. It is my favorite form of artistic expression and is able to move and captivate the audience and bring them into their story. I am always inspired from watching dance and would love to have the opportunity to enjoy this ballet production. 🙂

  136. Tara Johnson says:

I used to be a ballet student at Ballet West Academy and would dance in their Nutcracker as a little girl. Ballet has such a special place in my heart and has been a passion of mine since I was old enough to understand it’s aesthetic. I’m now a college student and have been unable to attend a Ballet for a few years because of ticket prices, and would die at a change to see Ballet West perform my favorite production of Swan Lake.

  137. Tara Johnson says:

I used to be a student at Ballet West Academy and performed in their Nutcracker as a little girl. Ballet has been a passion of mine ever since I was old enough to understand it’s aesthetic. Since moving away from home and focusing on my studies, I have been able to attend the Ballet because of the cost of tickets. I would die at the change to see my favorite production, Swan Lake!!!!!

  138. Rachel Johnson says:

When my daughter was training as a ballet dancer, we loved to see the performances put on by Ballet West. It would be magical to be able to attend a production again, for it has been many many years, with my daughter and rekindle old connections we used to have with each other. Please please please choose me!!!

  139. Trax Decker says:

Ballet is an acquired taste. It is very wonderful to watch and has amazing performances. But if you are not into it, then it can be difficult to experience.

  140. Trevor Nielson says:

My daughter and I would LOVE to go to Swan Lake! She loves ballet and gymnastics and seeing a live performance would be an amazing and fun bonding experience for the two of us. She hasn’t been to a commercial ballet production yet, so this would be a very big deal for her.

  141. Brooke says:

I would love to go, especially since I missed out on FanX. It takes a real nerd like me to appreciate Comic Con, and appreciate the ballet. I’m unique. In many ways 🙂

  142. Connor says:

WHAT!?! Swan Lake?! In SALT LAKE!? And here I was thinking I was a nerd for liking comic con, but Ballet? That shizzle is my nizzle. Everyone should go and see Swan Lake AT LEAST once! Also anything Tchaikovsky. DO IT, YOU UNCULTURED SWINE!!

  143. Val Pilch says:

Aside from the Nutcracker Suite my second ballet has always been Swan Lake. I remember going with my mother when I was a child. If you choose to pick me, I can recreate the experience once more.

  144. Whitney Russell says:

After moving to Utah last year post graduation from college with my dance and exercise science degrees, my injury has prevented me from dancing. I have only been to one performance since then, although I have begun to practicing my craft again along with physical therapy. I also trained dancers in college and long to have any bit of the art in my life. While physical therapy school is in the future, any opportunity to see live performances is such a blessing. Thank you for your consideration!

  150. Daphne says:

I would love to take my daughter to see Swan Lake. We haven’t had a mommy/daughter date for a long time. I would love to win something like this to make it a very special occasion. 🙂

  151. Daphne says:

I would love to take my daughter to this for a mommy/daughter date. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to have one and this would be a wonderful event that would leave us both with a long, beautiful memory.

  152. Jacqueline Lewis says:

I love the Ballet and haven’t been able to attend in a long while. In the past 7 years I have been in 3 car wrecks all of which where not my fault, and it has placed me in a wheelchair and I have quit doing many of the wonderful things I did before the accidents. I remember my mother taking me to see Swan Lake as a little girl and I was too young to appreciate the beauty of it all and would love that opportunity to live that experience over again, so that I can fully appreciate that art my mother struggled to give to me as a struggling single parent in the late 70’s. Thank you

  153. Kaitlin says:

I love Swan Lake, but I’ve never been able to go to a ballet before! This would be one of the greatest experiences of my life.
