SLCC Podcast: I’m with Her-O: Creators Talk Girl Heroes and Why They Matter

The panel featured on today’s podcast took place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11am in room 250A of the Salt Palace Convention Center.

It was titled I’m with Her-O: Creators Talk Girl Heroes and Why They Matter and is about why female representation in comics and novels is important. It features a group of some of the most accomplished female writers working today. They are:

Margaret Stohl (@mstohl)- co-author of Beautiful Creatures, Black Widow novels, and Captain Marvel

Gwenda Bond (@Gwenda) – Lois Lane: Fallout, Girl on a Wire, and Girl Over Paris

Sarah Kuhn (@sarahkuhn) – Heroine Complex and Barbie comics

Cecil Castellucci (@misscecil) – Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure
