Marvel confirms an “Attack on Titan” crossover!

Attack on Titan reports that a crossover between the Marvel Comics Universe and the popular anime series “Attack on Titan” is imminent. While Marvel Comics has dabbled in manga-inspired creations before (most notably, its series of Marvel Mangaverse comics), it looks like the publisher is planning to go even further down the rabbit hole. Marvel’s C.B. Cebulski revealed on Twitter that a crossover is planned between Marvel Comics and Hajime Isayama’s “Attack on Titan.” Pitched as, “What if the titans from Hajime Isayama’s ‘Attack on Titan’ attacked the Marvel Universe,” Cebulski confirmed that the project is “not a joke” and that the crossover will drop in two weeks in Japan.

Syracuse University to offer an entire course on Doctor Who!

The Nerdist reports that a professor at the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University will be teaching a course on the history and lasting cultural impact of Doctor Who next semester. Per the report, the course will focus on the show in terms of the digital age, since many of the historical context and references of the series’ 50+ year history might not be well known to today’s viewers of college age.
