Who will play Doctor Strange? Marvel reveals candidates!

Just hours after Ewan McGregor entered the mix for Doctor Strange, Variety has listed five other actors who are said to be on Marvel’s current shortlist. In addition to the aforementioned Star Wars veteran, the trade source reveals that the studio and director Scott Derrickson are now looking at actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Oscar Isaac, Jared Leto, Ethan Hawke, and Matthew McConaughey to potentally play the Sorcerer Supreme on the big-screen. Doctor Strange is expected to be released on July 8, 2015.

“The Park is Open”!

Director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) tweeted out the first poster for Jurassic World and it definitely sets a dark tone for the film (even though I expect this version to not be full of grit – it has Chris Pratt as the lead after all). I’m super stoked about this movie so hopefully this means some kind of trailer is on the way soon. We know the bulk of the film takes place inside a functioning park on Isla Nublar 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park and I can’t wait to see what kind of things are in store for us.
