    At Tom Spina Designs, Tom has created Star Wars characters for commercials and videos and performed groundbreaking work preserving original film props for archives and private collectors. Tom’s newest venture, Regal Robot™ is creating amazing themed furniture and unique home decor, including a line of official, authentic Star Wars™ creations.

    From authentic Star Wars creature costumes and masks to the famously viral Han Solo in Carbonite Desk and even the restoration of priceless movie treasures like the original wolf from An American Werewolf in London, Tom Spina and his studio have a hand in some of the most awesomely geeky projects around!

    Professional sculptor and effects artist Tom Spina, who was inspired by the diverse aliens in the original Star Wars cantina sequence, learned to sculpt as a young artist by recreating the monsters and Star Wars aliens that he saw on screen. He and his talented crew at Tom Spina Designs ( have since created dozens of Star Wars characters for commercials, videos, and various official events, as well as authentic life sized Star Wars creations for Sideshow Collectibles and others.

    With clients like Lucasfilm and the Lucasfilm Archives, Google, Disney, NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox, The Prop Store of London, DIY Network, NECA Toys and Six Flags, there are any number of places you may have seen Tom and his team’s work. They offer a wide range of talents and create everything from portrait sculpture like wax figures and bronzes to costumes, creatures, and masks, to trade show and theme park props of all sizes and styles.

    Tom’s passion for original movie memorabilia led to his company’s groundbreaking work preserving and restoring original film props and costumes, offering archives and private collectors alike museum-worthy services such as incredible mannequins and displays, sculpture and theming. Their years of experience have made them the go-to source for those looking for conservators of their precious collections and archives. They’ve preserved countless props from Gremlins, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, the Alien series, 2001, Creepshow and many, many other films.
