Manu Bennett offers charitable donation, challenges Salt Lake Comic Con celebrites!

Manu Bennett, star of TV’s Arrow and The Hobbit trilogy, has offered the first $1,000 he makes at Salt Lake Comic Con 2014 as a charitable contribution to a local family with a child in cancer treatment. He made this announcement during the opening Press Conference at Salt Lake Comic Con 2014, and also challenged the other celebrities present at the opening press conference to help make a difference in the lives of local families.

Kids from the official Salt Lake Comic Con Community Partners Make-A-Wish Foundation and Millie’s Princess Foundation were present at the Press Conference and were given early access to the fun activities at Salt Lake Comic Con. Salt Lake Comic Con has over 15,000 free tickets to charities, first-responder, military organizations and under privileged families across Utah.
